バタやんのミノルフォン時代（昭和40年代）はもっとも声に艶のあったころ。収録曲の「ロマンス航路」はテイチクでは再吹込されていません。「島育ち」と「浜千鳥」はミノルフォン吹込みが最高だと思います。オリジナル曲だけではなく，上原敏や北廉太郎の作品も唄っています。ただ，録音機器が良すぎるせいか、息つぎが聞こえるのが難点です。３枚組でこの価格はお買い得でしょう。
